The Mission:

"sync. 2009 tour" is a four week leadership summer program for high school students from Dallas ISD schools. For the first summer, registration will be limited to the first 60 students. Each participant will learn how to build leadership skills and assets that they can use in their everyday lives.

Topics such as positive relationships & boundaries, cyberbullying, teen dating violence, alcohol and drug abuse, depression and suicide, media influence, self-image, and leadership development will be introduced in a new format accented with developmental tools to help students through daily stressors.

Students will be assigned to gender specific groups, which allows both males and females to talk freely, peer to peer, about the issue and how it affects them personally.
